Jason and Danielle

Yay! I got the official photos from Jason and Danielle's wedding today! Thank you David Miller (http://www.millerfolio.com/) for the beautiful photos!
What a beautiful bride!

Close up of the bouquet. Sad story, turns out this is NOT the bouquet that I made for Danielle. Seems the cake people took apart her bouquet and her sisters bouquet (gasp- how they couldn't figure out they were bouquets I don't know) and used them on the cake! Needless to say I was FURIOUS when I found out and saw this picture. That experience just taught me to label EVERYTHING, even if you think bouquets are self explanatory.

These were the bouquets I made for Danielle and her sister! Danielle's is on the left. Made with blue hydrangea, white roses, stephanotis and crystals. Her sisters bouquet was made with blue hydrangea, lavender roses and crystals. To bad these beautiful pieces got taken apart and used on the cake. Cake looked pretty though, but so sad the bride and her sister didn't get to walk down the aisle with these bouquets! :(
Jason's boutonniere was made with a white rose, stephanotis, misty blue and greenery.

The moms had different wrist corsages. The photo to the left was the corsage made for Danielle's mom. It was made with white spray roses, misty blue and greenery. Jason's mom loves purple carnations, so I made her a purple carnation wrist corsage!

We did two types of centerpieces for this wedding. This is the "low" centerpiece. A bubble bowl filled with blue hydrangea, White and lavender roses and baby blue iris!
Stunning photo!

The "tall" centerpiece was made on a tall cylinder vase with blue hydrangea, white and lavender roses and baby blue iris!

The infamous cake! With all my beautiful bouquet flowers! :(

Sneak Peak of Eric and Alethea's Wedding

Alethea was such a fun bride to work with. She lives back east and we only ever met in person today (on her wedding day). Thankfully we were able to get everything organized via Email. She even had supplies shipped to my home. Alethea was a beautiful bride and had great taste when it came to picking out her wedding flowers.
Close up of the chupah with Dana Point harbor behind it. The wedding took place at The Chart House Restaurant.

The aisle was lined with pink Chinese lanterns tied with chocolate brown ribbon.

Pin-On Corsages made with gerber daisies and bear grass loops. Pretty cute if I do say so myself!

Eric's Boutonniere- made with a gerber daisy, eucalyptus and a bear grass loop. The groomsmen had the same boutonnieres, minus the bear grass loop.

One of the two types of centerpieces. You can't go wrong with a bubble bowl filled with fragrant oriental lilies!

The second centerpiece was a topiary in style made with gerber daisies with a chocolate brown bow tied at the top.

The cake! Heard it was red velvet with cream cheese frosting! YUM!

They even had a candy bar! How fun is that!!!

Can't wait to get the professional photos of this beautiful bride on a gorgeous summer day in Dana Point!

Sneak Peak of Daniel and Rachel's Wedding

Daniel and Rachel were so much fun to work with. Rachel is the sister of a friend of mine so it was only natural I do her wedding flowers. It was very cute because Daniel was VERY involved with the flower process which most grooms aren't. It was very re-freshing. He has a very creative/artisitc eye and I told him he should come be my apprentice!
The table in the front foyer.

We used two different color of orchid plants for the centerpieces. One white and.....

the other purple!

Can't wait to get the photos for this wedding. The photographer was Matt Beard, an incredible photographer based out of Los Angeles. With him behind the camera I'm sure all the photos will be stunning!

M&J's Wedding

The Arch
The top of the arch piece was made with purple stock, kale, sunflowers, green roses and green hypericum berries. Turned out AMAZING don't ya think?!

The bridal bouqet! I loved this rustic feeling bouquet! It was made with green hydrangea, green roses, sunflowers and purple stock! Stunning! Romantic yet rustic!

I was the Maid of Honor at this wedding! I clean up pretty good I'd say! ;)

Close up of my bouquet. It was made with green hydrangea, kale, purple stock, green roses and green hypericum berry. Sorry to say but this picture doesn't do this bouquet justice!

Flowers in my hair

Keeping with the rustic/country feel of this wedding; the centerpices were 3" mini terra cota pots with a variety of purple, white and yellow plants in each. The centerpieces also doubled as the thank you gifts! I love using things for multiple purposes! Great idea for saving $$$.

Thank you Partick Anibaldi of Anibaldi Studios (http://www.anibaldistudios.com/) for the beautiful photos!

Sneak Peak of Jayna A.'s Wedding

What a weekend! My best friend Jayna got married and I was her Maid of Honor AND florist! I was a busy girl! The wedding was beautiful, the bride stunning and the flowers AWESOME if I do say so myself! ;) Here is a sneak peak of the arch piece. Will post more when I get them from the photographer!
Enjoy!
Jayna was going for a rustic/county feel. I think the curly willow on the arch gives it just that look.
The arch piece was made with sunflowers, stock, kale, green roses and green hypericum berry! All those flowers tie into the bouquets, boutonniere, ect... can't wait for you guys to see it all put together!

Some Pretty Stuff

Here are 2 pretty arrangments I made recently.....
Bridal bouquet made with white hydrangea, roses, freesia, cymbidium orchid blooms and lets not forget the bling!
LOVED this container! Had to make something awesome in it! This arrangement has white hydrangea, white oriental lilies and white phalaenopsis orchids. So pretty!
