Sneak Peak of Jayna A.'s Wedding

What a weekend! My best friend Jayna got married and I was her Maid of Honor AND florist! I was a busy girl! The wedding was beautiful, the bride stunning and the flowers AWESOME if I do say so myself! ;) Here is a sneak peak of the arch piece. Will post more when I get them from the photographer!
Enjoy!
Jayna was going for a rustic/county feel. I think the curly willow on the arch gives it just that look.
The arch piece was made with sunflowers, stock, kale, green roses and green hypericum berry! All those flowers tie into the bouquets, boutonniere, ect... can't wait for you guys to see it all put together!

Some Pretty Stuff

Here are 2 pretty arrangments I made recently.....
Bridal bouquet made with white hydrangea, roses, freesia, cymbidium orchid blooms and lets not forget the bling!
LOVED this container! Had to make something awesome in it! This arrangement has white hydrangea, white oriental lilies and white phalaenopsis orchids. So pretty!

Jayna A.'s Bridal Shower

Jayna has been my best friend for over 10 years, so when she told me she was getting married and asked me to be her maid of honor I was not only thrilled but went into bridal shower flower planning mode. ;) Lucky for Jayna her best friend and her florist are one in the same. For the bridal shower we went with a tea theme as Jayna and I studied abroad in England together and love to go have tea. Hope you like!

Every guest at the shower had their own teacup of flowers to take home.
The tables "centerpieces" were teapots with flowers and the teacups.
Even the food platters got decorated with flowers! This was a very fun day!

Ben and Ruth

Ruth found me through advertising I'd done on craigslist. She knew exactly what she wanted and booked me shortly after meeting. She was fun to work with and I LOVED her bouquet!
The bouquet was made of cremy colored parrot tulips! Parrot tulips are so fun with their wrinkly petals! This bouquet may just be one of my favorites!
The centerpieces kept with the tulip theme. Here we used 8ince bubble bowls with shells inside, 3 colors of tulips and greenery. So simple yet so pretty.
This cake smelled heavenly with the butter cream frosting! Was hard not to stick my finger in it when I was putting the flowers on it. The cake is decorated with cream colored parrot tulips.

Gus and Kristi

Wow! Seems I've been a bit behind at keeping up my blog. Sorry guys!
Gus and Kristi were my last wedding from 2010 and one of my favorites. They got married at the Knott's Berry Farm Resort. Kristi was very easy to work with and always open to hearing my suggestions. Loved that they kept with the holiday season and they flowers reflect that. I'm my opinion you can't go wrong with Christmas greens! To bad we can't have them year round!
Kristi's bouquet was made in a semi-cascade style with red roses, cedar and holly. Not only was it beautiful, it smelled amazing!
The bridesmaids bouquets were made from white oriental lilies, white roses and cedar! Loved these bouquets!

Corsages and Boutonnieres
The centerpieces were made in 6x6 square glass vases and were filles with white oriental lilies, red spray roses, cedar and holly. Wish the lillies would have opened a bit more, but boy did that room smell good!

The happy bride and groom with their bridal party!
